WACO, TX -- For a record third consecutive season, the Baylor football team is heading to a bowl game and the man that has led them to this historic feat is reportedly sticking around a while longer.
According to reports, Baylor head coach Art Briles has agreed to a contract extension with the university.
When asked about the report, sources inside the university did not deny its validity but they also told KCEN Sports they would not comment on personal matters such as this.
Terms of the contract extension have not been released.
Baylor finished the regular season 7-5 overall and the Bears are scheduled to battle UCLA in the Holiday Bowl December 27th.
