Former President George H.W. Bush Remains in Hospital

(KCEN) -- There is now an update on the condition of former president George H.W. Bush.

He is improving but remains in a Houston hospital for treatment of a stubborn bronchitis-related cough.

A spokesman from the hospital says doctors are being extra cautious and are in no hurry to send him home.

Bush is listed in stable condition.

He has been in the hospital since the day after Thanksgiving.
