
(KCEN) -- Waco police have arrested two people suspected of burglarizing several vehicles and setting one on fire.
Officers responded to 1200 North Valley Mills Drive around 10:27 last night to assist the Waco Fire Department with a vehicle that was burglarized and then set on fire.
Police investigated and then arrested two people, 29-year-old Jack McCarter and 27-year-old Tarrie Lynn Byrom, for arson and multiple burglaries of motor vehicles.
After responding to the car fire on Valley Mills, other calls of burglaries of vehicles at 816 North Valley Mills, 4601 Hodde, 641 Ruby and 2004 North Valley Mills came in.
While investigating these calls, the suspects were seen with property from the burglary on 4601 Hodde.
Police followed the suspects on foot for a short distance and then took then into custody. They found property from all of the vehicles that had been burglarized on the suspects.
Byrom was wanted in Coryell County for other burglaries of vehicles and surety of bond warrants.
Both suspects were charged with one count of arson and four counts of burglary of a motor vehicle.
