
UPDATE (KCEN) -- Copperas Cove High School has now been cleared after a bomb threat was found earlier today.
A Fort Hood K9 Unit finished clearing the school at 2:45 p.m.
The campus was evacuated around 11 this morning and students were released shortly after.
The threat was found written on a wall in a girls bathroom in the commons area. It designated the bomb threat at 12:05 p.m.

(KCEN) -- Copperas Cove High School is being evacuated after a bomb threat was found this morning.
A student discovered the threat written on a bathroom wall in the school around 10:30 this morning.
Everyone at the school was evacuated and is being sent home for the day. Students were being released at the back student parking lot.
Parents needing to pick up their children can do so at the back student lot and must show identification.
Students who walk or drive to or from school were allowed to leave.
Police are investigating and working to clear the campus and a reward is being offered to anyone with information that leads to the detention or arrest of the person or people responsible.
