Lockheed Martin Relocating More Than 500 Jobs to Texas

Posted: Updated:

(KCEN) -- Military technology company Lockheed Martin is relocating more than 500 jobs from Georgia to Fort Worth.

It is making the move to cut costs due to defense spending reductions in Washington, D.C.

Relocating the 560 jobs to Texas will save the company about $250 million.

Lockheed Martin manufactures the F-35, F-22 and F-16 fighter jets for the U.S. Military.
