Crews Trying to Find Cause of West Texas Pipeline Explosion

Posted: Updated:

(KCEN) -- Crews are trying to figure out what made a pipeline in west Texas explode.

The blast sent 250 foot fireballs shooting into the sky.

It all happened near the DCP plant in Goldsmith, Texas.

That's just west of Midland.

The broken pipeline belonged to West Texas Gas.

Flames from the blast destroyed more than a dozen utility poles and a welding shed.

No one was hurt.
