Houston Area Muslim Community Outraged by Possible Hate Crime

(KCEN) -- A community northwest of Houston is outraged after a dead pig was left outside a mosque.

It's now being investigated, possibly as a hate crime.

The pig was found at the entrance of the mosque on Wednesday night as worshippers came to pray.

It appears the animal may have been mutilated.

At times, a pig has been used symbolically against Muslims because their faith does not permit them to eat pork.

The case has not yet been classified as a hate crime.
