(KCEN) -- Police are at the Walmart store in Killeen where a newborn baby was found deceased in a restroom earlier today.
The infant was found around 1:49 this afternoon by a Walmart employee who was cleaning the restroom. The employee found the child on the floor in a back stall. There was no info on whether or not the baby was wrapped in anything like a blanket or a car seat.
Officials did confirm that the infant was full term and was a female.
The baby was pronounced dead at 2:13 and an autopsy was ordered to find out the exact cause of death.
Police are now looking for the mother of the child. They are concerned that she may need medical attention.
Walmart is located at 1400 Lowes Boulevard.
