(KCEN) -- It was a close call in Temple as firefighters battled a house fire.
It happened at the 3900 Block of Lower Troy Road.
A fire broke out close to 8 this evening in a building used for storage.
Crews took a defensive approach to the flames keeping it away from other homes.
However the building was a complete loss.
Temple Firefighter Thomas Penchal says, "Its never a good time to have a fire because every time there's a loss, but again there was no injuries. No fatalities and that's a positive in that regard."
It took crews about 30 minutes to put out the fire.
And because of the damage the cause is undetermined and the building was a complete loss.
