UPDATE (KCEN) -- Marlin Elementary School was evacuated today after a bomb threat was received around 2 p.m.
Students were released to their parents from Marlin High School after they were all evacuated there from the elementary school and were all accounted for.
Police searched the buildings but found no devices.
Investigators determined that the threat came from a county jail inmate in west Texas. A warrant will be issued for the suspect after the investigation is complete.

The staff is now leaving the school.
All emergency vehicles have now left the school.

(KCEN) -- A school in Marlin has been evacuated and the students at the school have been moved to another Marlin campus.
The school which was evacuated has not yet been confirmed. The reason for the evacuation has also not yet been confirmed.
