(KCEN) -- Penn State University is about to begin paying up for the Jerry Sandusky child sex abuse scandal.
The Pariot-News of Harrisburg, Penn. reports the university will begin making it's payments on December 20.
It'll be the first of five annual 12 million dollar payments.
The National Collegiate Athletic Association issued the school a 60 million dollar fine in the wake of the investigation into the Sandusky scandal.
The money will go toward an endowment to help fight child sex abuse and to help victims.
