Starbucks Limited Edition Gift Cards Being Sold on Ebay

(KCEN) -- Starbucks lovers who missed out on the coffee chain's limited-edition gift cards can now find them on Ebay, but for much more money than what they are worth.

On Friday, the company sold 5,000 stainless steel gift cards online that went for $450 each.

The cards sold out in six minutes.

The gift cards are loaded with $400 in Starbucks credit.

By Monday, dozens were the cards selling on Ebay for hundreds of dollars more than face value.

One was claimed Saturday after a winning bid of almost $1,100.
