
The fire broke broke out at a church in Belton a little past midnight.
Police responded to a call at 210 East 24th Ave at Christ the King Catholic Church.
It happened during a midnight church service.
Everyone inside was evacuated from the building.
The damage is estimated to be a couple thousand dollars because of pipe damage from the smoke.
Fire crews were on the scene until 5:30 this morning.
