(KCEN) -- Two motorcycle cops in Dallas are recovering in the hospital after they were involved in a crash on I-35.

It happened around 1 yesterday afternoon at the intersection of I-35 East and Clarendon Drive.

That's where a car apparently swerved to avoid hitting another car, forcing the two cops to hit each other and crash.

Both officers were taken to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
