(KCEN) -- There were some frantic moments yesterday afternoon at an Oregon Mall when a masked man opened fire and killed two people before taking his own life.
The shooting happened around 3:20 at the Clackamas Town Center in Portland, Oregon.
Witnesses say it started in the food court.
Kids were in line to have their photos taken nearby when shots started ringing out.
The shooter was reportedly wearing a hockey mask and what appeared to be a bullet proof vest.
Cyndi Lou Johnston, who is an employee at the mall, said, "People were trampling each other trying to get out and I just kept going back in and trying to get people out of there until I didn't see anymore customers in there."
Police later found the gunman dead with a gunshot wound to the head.
Two people were killed and one other person was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
