Bellmead Police Department Collecting Toys for Holiday Toy Drive - kcentv.com - KCEN HD - Waco, Temple, and Killeen

(KCEN) -- The Bellmead Police Department is in the middle of their Adopt a Child Toy Drive, which gives the community the opportunity to give toys to less fortunate children.

The event is going on until 5 p.m. on December 17 at the Bellmead Police Department, located at 701 Maxfield Drive.

If you want to participate, go to the police department lobby and select an ornament from off the tree. Each ornament has a child's age and sex on it. Then return the ornament and unwrapped presents to the department and tell the dispatcher it is for the toy drive.

An officer will then take the items from you.
