(KCEN) -- Two people were killed when their small-engine aircraft crashed in north Texas yesterday.

It went down at the border of Kaufman and Ellis counties, southeast of Dallas.

Little was left of the plane at the crash site.

After hosing down the fiery mess, investigators found two bodies in the wreckage.

There's no word on what exactly what caused the crash.

The FAA is investigating.
