(KCEN) -- More than 6,000 people were able to enjoy a holiday feast all thanks to HEB's 23rd Annual Feast of Sharing dinner.
The store started this as a part of their mission to serve and support their communities throughout the Lone Star State.
HEB is known for this along with many other events and fundraisers to help with the fight against hunger.
Turkey, pumpkin pie and much more were only part of what was given out yesterday.
Along with the delicious food, people enjoyed music, arts and crafts and Santa even made an appearance.
HEB Spokeswoman Tamra Jones said, "I'm very blessed to be able to work with such a fantastic company that gives back to the community as we do. This is just one part of what HEB does. We're happy to be here in Waco, Texas to celebrate the holidays with our community."
Along with HEB, the city of Waco and several organizations all volunteered their time to make this possible.
