(KCEN) -- Soldiers and their families in need will have toys under their tree, free of charge this year.
Fifteen-hundred military families cleared the shelves at the Santa's Workshop on post at Fort Hood.
With over fifteen donation locations throughout Central Texas.
Camo Santa was able to collect $160,000 worth of toys.
Once military families qualify for Camo Santa, each child is given two new toys, a stocking stuffers, a game, and a book.
Santa's Workshop expects several hundred more families to come through before they close up for the year.
Families that have shopped at Santa's Workshop were shocked by the selection.
"We try to get the most current and ready available items from that Christmas season. So the child gets what they're asking for. So they can be just like any other child."
Today was the last day to donate but the toy drive was a success.
Many of the families at Santa's Workshop today told me they were so grateful that they were moved to tears.
