(KCEN) -- Just a week after the car accident that took a Dallas Cowboys player's life the man behind the wheel during that accident returned to the football field.
Cowboys defensive tackle Josh Brent was on the sideline today as the Cowboys took on the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Brent was driving during the alcohol-related crash that took the life of teammate Jerry Brown.
He faces an intoxication manslaughter charge and had a blood alcohol level of .18.
Prosecutors say a previous DWI on Brent's record will make probation unlikely if he's convicted.
He faces up to 20 years in prison.
