(KCEN) -- One person is dead and more than a dozen are injured in crashes caused by dusty winds in west Texas.
Drivers faced high winds and limited visibility while traveling along I-27 between Lubbock and Plainview today.
Seventeen people were injured and one person was killed in five separate crashes this afternoon.
Police are blaming low visibility and high winds.
Those collisions shut down the highway for several hours.
