
KCEN HD News reporter Rebecca Schleicher joined the folks at Collin Street Bakery in Waco to learn easy-to-use holiday cookie decorating recipes.
Here's how to make their gingerbread cookie (this recipe makes more than 6 lb of batter, so you'll have to downsize for smaller parties):
Black Pepper: .21 oz
Butter: 1lb, 1.07oz
Shortening: 8.53 oz
Brown Sugar: 1 lb, 5.33 oz
Molasses: 2 lb, 2.13 oz
Eggs Whole: 7.68 oz
All Purpose Flour: 4 oz
Baking Soda: .85 oz
Cinnamon Ground: .43 oz
Ginger: .85 oz
Allspice: .43oz
Cloves: .43 oz
Salt: .43 oz
1. Mix butter and shortening til smooth
2. Add brown sugar and mix until fluffy
3. Mix the rest for 1-2 min on 1st
Bake at 350 degrees for 11 minutes. Do not over bake!
