(KCEN) -- Michael Jordan's shoes are still popular enough to cause a problem.
Police even pepper-sprayed a crowd in Alabama ahead of the release.
For some reason tempers started to flare in a crowd of nearly 100 people in Huntsville, Ala.
Then police broke out the pepper spray.
The crowd that had waited hours for the new Air Jordan 11 shoes instead found themselves waiting in a different line, as police helped get the irritant off their skin and out of their eyes.
There was never a fight, but police say customers weren't following store rules.
