Central Food Mart in Temple Robbed, Suspect on Loose - kcentv.com - KCEN HD - Waco, Temple, and Killeen

(KCEN) -- Temple police are searching for a suspect who robbed the Central Food Mart on Monday night.

At 9:55 on December 31 officers responded to a robbery at the store, located at 2004 North 3rd Street. They discovered the suspect had gone into the store, showed a handgun and demanded money.

After receiving cash, the suspect fled north on foot.

The suspect is described as a young black male, about six-feet-tall with a thin build. He was last seen wearing a light-colored sweatshirt, a dark hood, dark-colored pants, gloves and used a cloth to cover his face.

Officers searched for the man, but was unable to find him.

No one was injured during the robbery.
