(KCEN) -- A father and his 13-year-old son were killed on Tuesday night in a motorcycle accident on a neighborhood street in east Austin.

The wreck happened when the motorcycle hit a parked vehicle on the residential street just before 6 p.m.

Victims of the crash were not immediately identified.

According to police, neither was wearing a helmet.

They were the first and second people to die as a result of a traffic accident in Austin in 2013.
