(KCEN) -- On-looking shoppers watched police shoot at a man accused of trying to use a stolen credit card at a Houston-area mall.
It happened outside the Woodlands Mall yesterday when police say 41-year-old Todd Washington tried to get away in his car.
Officers boxed him in, but police say he then backed into a mall security vehicle and drove toward a deputy who fired a shot into the windshield.
Washington was not hit, and surrendered to police.
He is charged with aggravated assault and credit card abuse.
