(KCEN) -- Fixed mortgage rates are nearing record lows again.
According to mortgage buyer Freddie Mac, the average rate on a 30-year fixed loan slipped from 3.35 percent to 3.34 percent last week.
That's one drop closer to the record low of 3.31 percent reached in November.
The record low for a 15-year fixed loan is 2.63.
It also dropped last week from 2.65 to 2.64.
