Abilene Sees Snow Accumulation From Winter Storm - kcentv.com - KCEN HD - Waco, Temple, and Killeen

(KCEN) -- That southern winter storm blanketed parts of Texas with snow, including an inch or two in the Abilene area.

Most of the accumulation was confined to grassy areas across the big country region Friday morning.

Aside from a few patches of ice and a little snow, many of the area roadways were free from any vehicle accidents or slide-offs.

A few school districts and businesses were delayed Friday morning, while some ISDs went ahead and canceled classes altogether.
