President to Give Chuck Hagel Nomination for Defense Secretary - kcentv.com - KCEN HD - Waco, Temple, and Killeen

(KCEN) -- President Obama is expected to nominate Former Nebraska Senator Chuck Hagel for defense secretary early next week.

The White House could have a confirmation fight on its hands if Hagel indeed gets the nod to replace Leon Panetta.  

While the republican Hagel has some strong supporters in the Senate, there has also been strong opposition to him on both sides of the political aisle.
