
IRVING,
Texas - Teammates Brittney Griner and Alexis Prince (Baylor), along
with Sharane Campbell (Oklahoma) have been named Phillips 66 Big 12
Women's Basketball Players
of the Week (POW), as chosen by a media panel. Griner extended her
record for career women's basketball weekly honors to 22. Campbell
picked up her fifth award after earning four freshman accolades last
year while Prince was recognized for the first time in
her career.
Top-ranked Baylor (12-1/2-0) has now earned Player of the Week honors four times this season as Griner earned her third recognition and junior guard Odyssey Sims earned POW status on Dec. 17.

Brittney
Griner averaged a double-double with 19 points and 11 rebounds in
Baylor's two league wins last week. She hit .615 (16-of-26) from the
field while adding four blocks and
four assists. Griner extended her NCAA record by throwing down her
ninth dunk during the TCU game. She led all scorers and rebounders with
24 points and 12 rebounds while shooting .733 (11-of-15) from the floor.
In the win over Oklahoma State, the senior center
tallied 14 points and a team-high 10 rebounds.

Alexis
Prince averaged 7.0 points, 3.0 rebounds and 2.0 steals off the bench
in Baylor's two victories over TCU and No. 13 Oklahoma State. She was
5-of-11 (.455) from the floor
and 3-of-4 (.750) from the free throw line. Prince recorded a
team-leading and career-high three blocked shots vs. OSU.
