(KCEN) -- On the second anniversary of the Tucson shooting spree, some 200 guns were turned in at a gun buyback event.
A grocery store traded $50 grocery store gift cards for each weapon.
Most of the guns turned-in were rifles and shotguns, plus a few handguns.
The guns exchanged for the gift cards will be destroyed.
Former Congresswoman Gabby Giffords is still recovering from a head wound she suffered in the shooting two years ago.
