(KCEN) -- An Oregon man is under arrest for domestic violence after he allegedly choked his victim using his dreadlocks.

Police in Portland, Ore. say the adult female victim told them her boyfriend assaulted her and choked her with his dread-locked hair.

Thirty-two-year-old Caleb Grotberg was taken into custody and charged with kidnapping, attempted assault, assault, menacing and strangulation, all domestic violence felony crimes.
