Bell County Extends Temporary Lift on Burn Ban - kcentv.com - KCEN HD - Waco, Temple, and Killeen

(KCEN) -- Bell County has decided to extend the temporary lift of the burn ban that was previously in effect.

The Commissioners' Court decided to lengthen the amount of time the burn ban was lifted because of the recent rain the county has experienced.

Previously, the ban was set to go back into effect at sundown on January 10.

Now that has been changed to sundown on Sunday, January 13.

On January 14, the Commissioners' Court will evaluate the conditions and whether or not the ban should go back into effect.
