(KCEN) -- He took pictures of himself.
Accused mass murderer James Holmes snapped disturbing photos of himself less then seven hours before the deadly theater shooting in Aurora, Colo.
Those pictures show Holmes grinning, sticking his tongue out, wearing black contact lenses and holding a glock handgun and an assault rifle.
Those in court today called the pictures very upsetting.
Today is the third and final day of what was to be a five-day preliminary hearing.
Prosecutors wrapped up their case saying there was enough evidence to warrant a trial.
The defense had planned to call witnesses to testify about Holmes' mental state, but then decided not to.
Legal Analyst Scott Robinson said, "The prosecutors have so much evidence of premeditation in this case they don't even know what to do with it all."
Holmes is charged with 160 counts of murder and attempted murder.
