(KCEN) -- Two people were injured in a car collision on the I-35 southbound service road in Lorena this afternoon.
The accident happened around 12:55 p.m. when a silver Mazda Protege failed to yield to a gray Honda Civic that was entering the ramp to the highway.
The person driving the Civic was traveling southbound on the road and the driver of the Protege was headed northbound.
One woman was in the Civic and she was taken by ambulance to Hillcrest with non life-threatening injuries.
There was also one woman in the Protege. She was taken by AirEvac helicopter to Scott & White, also with non life-threatening injuries.
