(KCEN) -- White Rock Water SUD in Mexia has issued a boil water notice for customers who are on their Whiterock System water system due to a main water line break.

The order affects everyone on the Whiterock System on Highway 171 and FM 2838. This does not affect customers on the West Lake Mexia System or the Forest Glade System.

If you live in this area, you should boil your water prior to consumption until further notice.

When the water is safe again, residents will be notified.
