(KCEN) -- A good Samaritan in Dallas is credited with saving the life of a truck driver.
She pulled him to safety just before the big rig burst into flames.
The crash happened early Wednesday morning when Elias Uribe slammed his 18-wheeler into a concrete barrier.
His truck erupted into flames and he was trapped behind the wheel with his door jammed shut.
But just seconds before the flames reached Uribe, a stranger showed up and pulled him out of the cab.
That stranger wasTerry Sims, who happened by to be driving by on her way to work.
Sims said, "I came around and I saw flames coming from underneath the trailer. So I pulled him out of the trailer, the truck."
Uribe said, "She was an angel to me. She was an angel to me."
After all this, Uribe says he's going to take a break from driving and spend more time with his three young children.
