(KCEN) -- A Texas father is facing third-degree felony charges after he allegedly told elementary school officials he had a gun as part of an experiment on school safety.
A Celina dad walked into his child's school this week and told the school's greeter he was a gunman and his target was inside.
Then he told the greeter he's was going inside and asked them what they were going to do about it.
He walked through the school doors and into the office.
He pointed at office personal and said, "you're dead, and you're dead."
But police say he never produced a weapon because he was conducting and experiment to test school security.
The parent David Siano says, "A guy walks in, makes threats. Everyone is sitting there terrified, doesn't know what to do, it shows that this is going to happen again."
Many parents say although the experiment was in poor taste, it still leaves a lasting impression.
