Home is Demolished After Massive Fire in Temple - kcentv.com - KCEN HD - Waco, Temple, and Killeen

(KCEN) -- A West Temple home is demolished after suffering massive damage from a fire.

The fire occurred around 6:00 this morning on the 1600 Block of Lightner Lane. 

When fire and rescue units arrived at the scene they reported heavy flames coming from the wood framed house.

According to the investigation the fire appears to have started from an electrical issue.

Due to extensive structural damage the house was later demolished by the City of Temple Public Works Department.

No one was inside of the home at the time of the fire.
