Home of Lee Harvey Oswald Demolished in Dallas - kcentv.com - KCEN HD - Waco, Temple, and Killeen

(KCEN) -- The home of accused JFK assassin Lee Harvey Oswald was demolished yesterday.

Using heavy equipment, demolition crews began leveling the dilapidated Dallas apartment building this morning.

Oswald lived in the building's apartment number 2 with his wife and daughter in the months leading up to President Kennedy's assassination in 1963.

Along with crews, a number of history buffs and curious onlookers were on site yesterday morning to watch the demolition and collect a piece of the building for a souvenir.
