Military Radio Tower Near Fort Hood Demolished

(KCEN) -- A 100-foot-tall military radio tower owned by Fort Hood was demolished yesterday with explosives.

It took place yesterday morning in Topsey, west of post.

The tower was built in the 1940s and was last used sometime in the 60s.

Engineers used about five pounds of explosives to bring it down.
