(KCEN) -- Venezuela's Vice President is reassuring the country on Hugo Chavez's health.
Nicolas Maduro said in an interview released on Thursday, "I see him very quiet, very calm, very serene, very aware of all the phases that have happened in the post operative period and well, very optimistic."
Chavez is in Cuba fighting an unspecified type of pelvic cancer.
He underwent his fourth cancer surgery in 18 months and developed complications in December.
