(KCEN) -- A driver is dead in Killeen after losing control of the vehicle.
The accident happened on the 1900 block of W. Stan Schlueter Loop around 1:00 Saturday morning.
The driver was identified as 29-year-old Leonel Feliciano Fernandez.
According to officers Fernandez was driving a silver Mitsubishi Eclipse and crashed into a concrete gutter after veering off of the road.
Fernandez, who was partially ejected from the vehicle, was pronounced dead at the scene by the Justice of the Peace.
A male passenger was also found near the vehicle and was transported to Scott and White Hospital.
That man has since been treated and released.
Killeen Police continue to investigate the cause of the crash.
