(KCEN) -- A man has now died after being hit by a truck on I-35 Friday afternoon.

Police say 49-year-old Bobby Gooden was crossing the highway when he was hit by the Chevy pick up.

The truck struck Gooden around 1:30 while traveling in a northbound lane near the Forrest exit in Waco.

Gooden was taken to the hospital but later died from his injuries.
