A recently declassified federal study reported by USA Today calls the U.S. power grid “vulnerable” to a terrorist attack. In response, Power4Patriots claims that the only way homeowners can truly protect themselves from power outages is by getting off the grid and using solar and wind energy.

Power outages, rolling blackouts and rolling brownouts have led many people to believe that the U.S. power grid is not as reliable as it should be. And now, a recently declassified federal study, as reported by USA Today and other media, reveals that the grid is also vulnerable to a terrorist attack.
Citing the grid’s old technology, lack of spare capacity and incapability of keeping pace with the increasing burden being placed upon it, the formerly secret report states that a sophisticated physical assault against the grid could produce catastrophic results.
In order to avoid dependency on an old, faulty and vulnerable power grid, Power4Patriots recommends that people get off the grid and generate their own solar and wind power.
