Texans Among Escapees From Algeria Gas Plant - kcentv.com - KCEN HD - Waco, Temple, and Killeen

(KCEN) -- There is now an update on Texans involved in the hostage crisis in Algeria.

We now know that 57-year-old Mark Cobb of Corpus Christi has escaped unharmed.

Cobb is the General Manager of the gas plant that was attacked.

Two other Texans, one from Austin and one from the Beaumont area are also believed to be ok.

Among the dead is Houston area resident Frederick Buttaccio.

Islamist militants stormed the plant gas plant last Wednesday and planted explosives throughout the complex.
