(KCEN) -- A strange story is coming out of California where a nurse in Los Angeles was arrested after police say he had sex with a corpse.
Sixty-one-year-old Alejandro Razo was arrested Sunday and released on $20,000 bail.
Police have not released many details about the incident but say Razo was arrested after committing a sex act on a female corpse.
The incident is alleged to have happened at the Sherman Oaks Hospital.
He will appear in court next month.
Officer Cleon Joseph with the LAPD said, "These things happen. We're living in different times. It's important that all professional environments keep it that way, so they did the right thing in contacting authorities."
The hospital has declined to comment.
