Leon County Man Charged for Running Wife Over With Car

(KCEN) -- A Leon County man is in jail, accused of running over his wife with a car.

It happened Monday night on FM 1146.

That's where investigators say Christopher Byrd and his wife Crystal began to argue.

Then Byrd allegedly used his car to run her over.

The woman was later pronounced dead.

Byrd is charged with intoxication manslaughter with a vehicle.

He's currently in the Leon County Jail.
