Annual Texas Rally for Life Being Held in Austin - kcentv.com - KCEN HD - Waco, Temple, and Killeen

(KCEN) -- Thousands of pro-life Texans will gather this Saturday for the annual Texas Rally for Life.

This year, they will be commemorating the 40th anniversary of the Roe v. Wade Supreme Court decision that struck down Texas' protective law against abortion.

Gov. Ricky Perry, Lt. Gov. David Dewhurst and other prominent Texan pro-life advocates are expected to speak.

The rally will be held this Saturday starting at 1 p.m.

Anyone wanting to attend should meet at the parking lot of 17th Street and Congress Ave.

The rally to the capitol will begin at 2 p.m.
