(KCEN) -- The Heart O' Texas Fair has received 27 awards for their advertising and marketing materials used to promote the yearly fair and rodeo.
The Texas Association of Fairs and Events and the Texas Festival and Events Association presented the plaques at the Texas Events Summit in San Antonio.
Among the awards, the Fair won first place for Best Overall, first for Best Website, first for Best T-Shirt Design and first for Best Scholarship Program.
The Heart O' Texas Fair also won the Lone Star Award, which recognizes the organization's efforts in marketing, programming and communications.
The 2013 Heart O' Texas Fair and Rodeo will be held October 3-12.
